Blossom Community Services.

Our mission is to provide quality services while putting our families first, We would like to create a positive holistic approach for supporting families in our community, so that they learn to become productive members of society despite the challenges they may have experienced. Our role is to give every person being served the best chance at success.

Purpose

Our purpose of Blossom Community Services is to support the person being served with mental health and substance abuse challenges find a new way to live, so they can become responsible members of our community. Blossom community Services will provide training on leadership skills, communication skills and decision-making skills to support them while living a new approach to life. Blossom community Services will collaborate with other organizations and resources that could help a person being served with recovery. Blossom Community Services will provide Job readiness classes to teach consumer how to apply for employment and how to engage in mock interviews if age appropriate.

Goal

Blossom community services will

• Aim to better the health of our consumers, both physically and emotionally.

• Collaborate with outside organizations and companies to extend these health features to our consumers.

• Assist consumers to develop self-esteem, build self-worth in people who have encountered much adversity in their lives

• Support consumers on accomplishing their goals and growing into the person with something to offer to society

• We are Creating a community that welcomes people with mental health challenges through our unique program.

• Encourage our consumers ability to govern their own lives independently with dignity and respect.

• Foster consumers social growth by encouraging individual talents and interests.

• Validate individual interests in a goal-directed manner.

• Encourage family participation and community collaboration.

• Celebrate success, regardless of how small, which are necessary on the road to recovery and fulfillment.
